Your Golden will go nuts when you give him a cookie that looks like your Snickerdoodle!

What you will need:

1/2 cup vegtable oil
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup honey
2 eggs
3 3/4 cup white flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup cornmeal
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix vegtable oil, shortening and honey with eggs. Beat well.

Add flour, baking soda and cream of tartar to the above mixture and KNEAD dough until mixed well.

Shape dough into balls and roll into a mixture of the cornmeal and cinnamon.

Place 2 inces apart on a greased cookie sheet. Press the balls down with a fork to give it the snickerdoodle look.
Bake for 8-10 minutes then cool on a rack. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
